The Global Indigenous Fashion Festival is a global celebration of Indigenous cultures, creativity, and fashion, bringing together designers, models, and industry leaders from around the world.

Models will participate in the International Spotlight Runways. Models are not assigned to a specific country, instead, selections are made to ensure the strongest alignment between model and garment.

Selected models are required to complete a one-week intensive training programme in the lead-up to the runways. This programme is delivered by our Indigenous Runway Project model trainer and focuses on runway technique, presentation, professionalism, and industry readiness.

The Indigenous Festival offers selected models more than a runway opportunity, it provides structured training, professional exposure, industry experience, and recognition, supporting pathways for both emerging and experienced Indigenous models.

Models will be eligible for recognition at the Gala Awards Night, with awards presented for both Emerging Model and Experienced Model categories.
