DISPATCH & DELIVERY POLICY
GIM dispatch and delivery policy applies, in addition to the terms and conditions (“Terms”), to all GIM products purchased via our online store.
Order acknowledgement & updates
Once an order is placed via GIM’s online store, you will receive email updates at each step of the dispatch and delivery process to keep you up to date with the progress of your order.
Non stocked products
Due to the nature of some products being very specific in purpose or application, not all products are stocked by us. These non stocked products are made to order and are products that are not stocked by a manufacturer or by us and have been purchased in by us specifically for your order. These non stocked products usually have an extended dispatch date and lead time for delivery from the supplier and us.
Stock on hand
We will use reasonable endeavours to show the correct available stock levels, however out of stocks will occur from time to time and for a number of reasons. We will use reasonable endeavours to source out-of-stock product from suppliers as soon as reasonably practical.
International orders
GIM online store has been launched to aid and assist our customers within Australia. If however, you are overseas and place an order through our online store, prices will be displayed in local currency. The final cost at checkout is inclusive of shipping, duties, and taxes.
Duties & Taxes
International and local taxes, tariffs and value-added tax are determined by the purchased merchandise’s country of origin (or the country it was manufactured) and the classification of that merchandise in accordance with a harmonized system used by the country. They are displayed in the order total at checkout.
Dispatch fees
The price of your products ordered does not include shipping or handling charges. These are added at the checkout, or in some cases where a particular product requires specialized transportation, a quote for dispatch will be arranged and you will be advised of these additional fees. Shipping and handling costs, minimum invoice values and any other additional charges (if applicable) will be added at the checkout and you will be asked to confirm the order, including all additional charges.
Local Shipping
Orders will be shipped out within 1-3 business days (M-F) from the order date. Standard shipping takes 2-7 business days. Express shipping takes approximately 1-3 business days. Note, shipping windows are estimates.
International Shipping
Orders will be shipped out within 1-3 business days (M-F) from the order date. Standard shipping takes 5-10 business days. Express shipping takes approximately 2-3 business days. Note, shipping windows are estimates.
Transit time
Whilst we will use reasonable endeavours to dispatch orders within the above timeframes, transit times will vary depending on the address location. Due to geographical circumstances, some locations may take longer to receive deliveries.
Deliveries
We use several carriers for deliveries depending on the customer’s location. Some carriers use a signed consignment note system and will not leave parcels unsigned for at a delivery address.
Deliveries left unattended at your address at your request are your responsibility. You accept that we will not be liable to replace the product in these circumstances.
You may receive your order in one complete delivery or in multiple deliveries.
Dispatch delays
In some circumstances, dispatch of your order may be delayed. The following sets out some of the common reasons for dispatch delays:
- If items are on backorder from a supplier especially items that are non stocked products or in transit from overseas;
- If a supplier is unable to receive an order for whatever reason;
- During public holidays or periods of industry wide shut-downs, such as Christmas and Easter;
- If a customer’s account is on credit hold;
- If any of the customer, order, dispatch or delivery details are incorrect;
- If a transport company experiences issues during delivery; or
- Acts of god.
Services
All and any services requested will comply to a Services Agreement between GIM and interested person/s. The delivery of such services will be as per Services Agreement. Services are non-refundable.
Event Tickets
Once payment has been received, your ticket to our event will be automatically emailed to the email address provided. On the event day, your ticket will be scanned at the door for entry into our events. Event tickets are non-refundable.
REFUNDS POLICY
All full-priced products still in their original condition are eligible for return within 30 days of the original purchase date. Price slashed items, provision of services and event tickets are non-refundable. While we try our best, direct exchange requests are not guaranteed because our stock is limited.
To request a return, please email us at info@globalindigenousmanagement.com with the subject line ‘Request for Returns’, detailing the reason for return. Once the goods have been approved for return, you will be allocated a returns number. Once the return has arrived in good condition and the goods have passed our internal inspection, it can take up to 10 business days for a refund to be processed. You will receive an email once your return is processed.
International Returns & Exchanges
International orders are not eligible for free returns or direct exchanges. The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer and original shipping fees, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

Please note that returned orders can take up to 21 business days for the funds to credit back to your original payment method as the below steps need to be followed:
1 – Shipping time to arrive back to our warehouse
2 – Processing and inspection for refund approval
3 – Authorization to finance department to issue refund
4 – It can take up to 7 business days for the funds to credit back to your payment method once our finance department process the refund.
Should your refund not be processed within the 21 business days, please send us the tracking number for the returned package to info@globalindigenousmanagement.com so that we can investigate further.

Talent Relationship
GIM’s relationship to the Talent, to be their representative in the industry and at no time is the relationship one of employer/employee, which is confirmed within the Australian Taxation Office’s “PAYG Withholding – Performing Artists and Promotional Activities”. The complete Guidelines can be viewed/printed from the Australian Taxation Office web site. Under these Guidelines it is stated that irrespective of whether the relationship of the Talent with the Client is deemed to be that of employee or independent contractor, the “Payer” of the Talent’s services (the Client) is responsible for withholding PAYG Taxes from the Talent Rates and the payment of Talent’s Superannuation, in accordance with current Superannuation Legislation. Please note the following point as stated in these ATO Guidelines: “Payments made to a performing artist’s agent: Where an agent contracts on behalf of the performing artist, the contract is still between the performing artist and the advertising agency or advertiser.”
